or Neo: 6

You can enjoy the 2-channel sources decoded into five or
six discrete channels by selecting PRO LOGIC, PRO
LOGIC or Neo: 6 in the program No. 11.

Select a subprogram suitable for the source.
The selection switches as follows each time V/DTS
SUR. is pressed.
• When PRO LOGIC is selected

• When PRO LOGIC

• When Neo: 6 is selected
Cinema ↔ Music
I Playing the Dolby Digital EX or
DTS ES software
Press EX/ES to turn on the Dolby Digital EX or DTS ES
decoder to listen to the Dolby Digital EX and DTS ES
software with a rear center speaker.

Press EX/ES to select the mode. (The modes that can be
selected vary depending on the format of the software to
play.)
AUTO: This mode automatically switches Dolby
Digital EX/DTS ES Matrix 6.1/DTS ES
Discrete 6.1 depending on the signal (flag)
in the input source that this unit can detect.
If the input source has no signal that this
unit can detect ("AUTO:OFF" is displayed.),
press EX/ES to select "Matrix 6.1".
Discrete 6.1: This mode can be selected only when the
source with DTS ES Discrete format has
been detected. (The DISCRETE indicator
lights up.) If the source switches to other
sources with rear left and right channels
during playback, this unit reproduces those
sources through the Matrix decoder. (Either
Matrix 6.1: This mode makes 6-channel playback of the
VOLUME
input source with Matrix or Matrix
compatible format through the Matrix 6.1

OFF: The Dolby Digital EX or DTS ES decoder
does not work in this mode.
