3. Lubricate the free ends of the cables, also lubricate
the ends near the engine, with engine oil.
4. Move the throttle control, choke control and the
controls for the cutting deck to their end positions
and lubricate the cables again.
5. Lubricate the joints, catches and bearings of the
controls for the cutting deck with engine oil.
6. Attach the right side cover.
To lubricate the chains in the frame
tunnel
1. Remove the 4 screws and remove the frame tunnel
cover.
2. Lubricate the chains (A) in the frame tunnel with
engine oil or chain lubricant spray.

3. Lubricate the pulley axles (B) for the steering wire
with grease.

To lubricate the parking brake cable
1. Remove the frame tunnel cover and the left side
To remove and install the frame
cover. Refer to
tunnel cover on page 21 .
2. Push the rubber casings (A) in the direction of the
ends of the parking brake cable.
3. Lubricate the ends of the parking brake cable with
engine oil.
4. Push the parking brake pedal 3 times and lubricate
the parking brake cable again.
5. Attach the rubber casings.
6. Attach the left side cover and the frame plate.
To lubricate the belt adjuster
The belt adjuster must be lubricated regularly with a
good quality molybdenum disulphide grease.
1. Remove the lower belt cover. Refer to
the lower belt covers on page 22 .
2. Lubricate with a grease gun through the nipple at the
right side, below the lower belt pulley. Lubricate until
grease comes out of the rear side of the nipple.
3. Attach the belt cover and tighten the 5 screws.
To lubricate the cutting deck
1. Remove the front cover.
