5 Montage
Mit einer Lichtstrahler-Halterung bzw. einer stabilen
Montageschraube das Gerät über den Montagebü-
gel (6) an der gewünschten Stelle (Traverse eines
Lichtstrahlerstativs oder Quergestänge) befestigen.
Zum Ausrichten des Gerätes die Feststellschrau-
ben (7) lösen, die gewünschte Neigung des Gerätes
einstellen, und die Feststellschrauben wieder anzie-
hen.
Wichtig! Zur Vermeidung von Wärmestaus im Gerät
muß die Montagestelle so gewählt werden, daß bei
Betrieb eine ausreichende Luftzirkulation gewährlei-
stet ist. Die Lüftungsöffnungen des Gehäuses dürfen
nicht abgedeckt werden.
6 Bedienung
Das Lichteffektgerät mit dem Stecker des Netzkabels
(8) an eine Steckdose (230 V~/50 Hz) anschließen.
Bei Anschluß an die Stromversorgung ist das Gerät
eingeschaltet: Die Lampe leuchtet.
Zum Ausschalten des Gerätes den Netzstecker
ziehen. Für einen besseren Bedienkomfort das Gerät
an eine Steckdose anschließen, die sich über einen
Lichtschalter ein- und ausschalten läßt.
6.1 Musiksteuerung
Um den Projektor über das integrierte Mikrofon (4) zu
steuern, alle 10 DIP-Schalter (9) nach links in die
ausgeschaltete Position stellen (siehe Abb. 2).
An der Musikanlage die gewünschte Lautstärke
einstellen. Mit dem Drehregler AUDIO (5) des Gerä-
tes die gewünschte Mikrofonempfindlichkeit einstel-
len. Wird der Regler entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn bis
zum Anschlag gedreht, ist das Mikrofon ausgeschal-
tet. Je weiter der Regler im Uhrzeigersinn aufgedreht
wird, desto höher wird die Mikrofonempfindlichkeit.
Den Regler so einstellen, daß die Dynamik der Musik
optimal durch die sich bewegenden Lichtstrahlen
wiedergegeben wird. Die rote LED (10) leuchtet,
sobald ein Steuersignal über das Mikrofon aufge-
nommen wird.
3) Do not touch the new halogen lamp with your fin-
gers. Grease and sweat from the skin reduce the
light intensity and burn in. Insert the lamp into the
lampholder by means of a soft, clean cloth.
4) Tightly screw down the housing cover with the
two screws.
5 Mounting
Use a support for light radiating units or a stable
mounting screw to fix the unit via the mounting
bracket (6) at the desired place (traverse of a stand
for light radiating units or horizontal bar).
To align the unit, release the setscrews (7), adjust
the desired inclination of the unit, and tighten the
setscrews again.
Important! To avoid a heat accumulation within the
unit, the mounting place must be selected so that suf-
ficient air circulation is ensured during operation. The
air vents of the housing must not be covered.
6 Operation
Connect the mains cable (8) of the light effect unit to
a socket (230 V~/50 Hz). The unit is switched on as
soon as it is connected to the power supply: the lamp
lights up.
To switch off the unit, disconnect the mains plug.
For more convenient operation connect the unit to a
mains socket to be switched on and off via a light
switch.
6.1 Music control
To control the projector via the integrated micro-
phone (4), set all 10 DIP switches (9) to the left to
the switched-off position (see fig. 2).
Adjust the desired volume at the music system.
Adjust the desired microphone sensitivity with the
rotary control AUDIO (5) of the unit. If the control is
turned counterclockwise to the stop, the microphone
is switched off. The further the control is turned up
clockwise, the higher the microphone sensitivity.
HINWEIS: Bei Veränderung der Lautstärke an der
Musikanlage muß auch die Mikrofonempfindlichkeit
über den Drehregler entsprechend angepaßt werden.
6.1.1 Zusammenschalten mehrerer Projektoren
Es lassen sich beliebig viele Projektoren zusammen
schalten, um so über das Mikrofon des Hauptgerätes
(Master) alle weiteren Nebengeräte (Slave) im glei-
chen Rhythmus zu steuern.
1) Am Hauptgerät den DIP-Schalter Nr. 10 in die
Position ON stellen.

ein XLR-Kabel mit der Buchse INPUT (1) des
ersten Nebengerätes verbinden.
4) Die Buchse OUTPUT des ersten Nebengerätes
mit der Buchse INPUT des zweiten Nebengerä-
tes verbinden usw.
6.2 Bedienung über ein Lichtsteuergerät
Die Lichteffektgeräte LE-304 und LE-314 verfügen
über zwei DMX-Kanäle, die einzeln über ein
DMX512-Steuergerät geregelt werden können:
1. Kanal für die Ansteuerung der Farb-/Muster-
scheibe und 2. Kanal für die Reflektorsteuerung.
1) Den Projektor über die Buchse INPUT (1) mit dem
DMX512-Steuergerät verbinden. Über die Buchse
OUTPUT (2) kann ein weiteres DMX512-kompa-
tibles Lichteffektgerät angeschlossen werden.
Adjust the control so that the dynamic sound of the
music is reproduced in an optimum way by the moving
light beams. The red LED (10) lights up as soon as a
control signal is picked up via the microphone.
NOTE: When changing the volume at the music
system, the microphone sensitivity must also be
matched accordingly via the rotary control.
6.1.1 Interconnecting of several projectors
As many projectors as desired may be interconnected
to control via the microphone of the main unit (master)
all further auxiliary units (slave) in the same rhythm.
1) At the main unit, set the DIP switch no. 10 to posi-
tion ON.

3) Connect jack OUTPUT (2) of the main unit via an
XLR cable to jack INPUT (1) of the first auxiliary unit.
4) Connect jack OUTPUT of the first auxiliary unit to
jack INPUT of the second auxiliary unit, etc.
6.2 Operation via a light control unit
The light effect units LE-304 and LE-314 are equip-
ped with two DMX channels which can individually be
controlled via a DMX512 control unit: 1st channel for
the control of the colour/pattern disc and 2nd chan-
nel for the reflector control.
1) Connect the projector via jack INPUT (1) to the
DMX512 control unit. A further light effect unit
compatible with DMX512 can be connected via
jack OUTPUT (2).
2) Den Projektor mit den DIP-Schaltern (9) auf die
Adresse des DMX512-Steuergerätes einstellen,
die dem Kanal entspricht, der zur Steuerung der
Farb-/Musterscheibe vorgesehen ist. Die Haupt-
adressen (11) sind links neben den DIP-Schaltern
angegeben. Andere Adressen können durch
„Addition" mehrerer Schalter eingestellt werden,
z. B. 4 + 16 + 32 = Adresse 52. Die entsprechen-
den Schalter in die Position ON stellen.

3) Als Kontrollfunktion leuchtet die rote LED (10),
wenn die am Lichteffektgerät eingestellte Kanal-
adresse mit dem am DMX-Steuergerät belegten
Kanal übereinstimmt und Steuersignale an das
Lichteffektgerät übertragen werden.

sponds to the channel provided for the control of
the colour/pattern disc. The main addresses (11)
are indicated on the left next to the DIP switches.
Other addresses can be adjusted by "addition" of
several switches, e. g. 4 + 16 + 32 = address 52.
Set the corresponding switches to position ON.
