10.1.8 Troubleshooting
Problem
While charging the
battery, the LED
indicator blinks
rapidly and the
handset beeps
rapidly.
I cannot remember
the PIN number.
The "Delete All"
operation to delete
all phonebook
entries is not
functioning.

Possible Cause
The battery is not
charging correctly due to
an electrical failure.
A wrong type of battery
such as Alkaline or
Manganese was inserted.

Batteries are drained,
which prevents the
operation from being
completed.
Solution
Unplug the AC adaptor from
the AC outlet, remove the
battery from the handset,
and contact your phone
system dealer/service
provider.
Use only the rechargeable
Ni-MH batteries noted on
page 18, page 18.
Contact your phone system
dealer/ service provider.
Charge the battery fully, and
then try again.
