You can check the HDD utility (capacity, usage, and available
space) of lhis unit.
1 • Press MENU while this unit is in the stop mode.
The display changes lot the metal item selection.

Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/-, • or • on the
remote control) to select "HDD Utility".

3, Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) to display "HDD Info.".

Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) again to display the capacity of the HDD.
Rotating the MULTI JOG knoh (pressing +H, • or • on the
remote control) changes the display as lollows. The disc
capacity is indicated by time (hour and minute).

• Formatting the HDD (HDD Format)
You can format the HDD in this unit.
• After tile HDD has been form0.lted, all data about tile recorded
tracks and settings will be erased lrom the HDD.
• After all data on the HDD have been initialized, the undo lunction
cannot be applied to any editing operations before
formallii'lg.
1, Carry out steps 1 to 3 in "Checking HDD information
(HDD Info.)" (at left).

remote control) to select "HDD Format".

To fl_rnmt the HDD, press INPUT. If not, press D.
5, Press INPUT to display "Format OK" and restart the
unit.
You cannot apply "HDD Format" for a new HDD. To format a
new HDD alter installation, refer to "HDD Insl0.1lalion
Manila]".
Tile times displayed are rough estimates.
5, Press D or MENU to exit.
Tile unit returns to tile stop mode.
