• Initializing a CD-RW disc

This operation inilializes a CD-RW disc.

1 • Set a CD-RW disc in the disc tray, then press and

hold ERASE for about two seconds,

"Erase Disc ?" appears on the display.

To cancel erasing, press D.

Press _pD to start erasing.

"Erasing" llashes on the display, and the level reeler shows the

erasing progress (Ihe process lakes aboul 20 minutes).

• "Erase Last" and "Erase TOC" cannot be applied to a CD-RW

disc recorded with "Full Auto" (E42) (except lor adding track

data to a disc without finalization) or a CD-RW disc recorded

with duplication.

• Never turn ofl the power of this unit during erasing.

• If"Check

Disc" appears on the display during erasing, and

erasing stops, there may be dust or damage on the CD-RW disc.

Check the CD-RW disc and start the erasing operation again.
