CONTROLLO LIVELLO LIQUIDO
REFRIGERANTE
Agli intervalli prescritti sulla tabella manutenzione
periodica controllate Il livello del liquido
refrigerante contenuto nel serbatoio di
espansione, sul lato destro del veicolo. Esso è
visibile dal posto di guida (fig. 34.1).
Deve risultare compreso tra i riferimenti di MAX
e di MIN ricavati sul serbatoio stesso.
Se il livello risulta basso è necessario provvedere
al rabbocco aggiungendo liquido prescritto.
Rimuovete la copertura laterale destra del
cruscotto come descritto a pag. 170.
Svitate il tappo di carico (fig. 34.2) e aggiungete
liquido nuovo fino a raggiungere il livello
prescritto.
Importante
Se avete difficoltà a reperire il refrigerante
prescritto, potete rabboccare eccezionalmente
con acqua di rubinetto. Appena possibile
sostituitela con liquido di raffreddamento
raccomandato.
Riavvitate il tappo e rimontate la copertura
rimossa.
Attenzione
Per nessun motivo aggiungete liquido
attraverso il tappo di carico del radiatore quando
il motore è ancora caldo.
Per ottenere le migliori condizioni di esercizio
(corrispondente all'inizio congelamento miscela a
-20 °C) il liquido di raffreddamento prescritto
deve essere miscelato con acqua nelle seguenti
percentuali:
Antigelo: 35 ÷ 40 % del volume;

CHECKING COOLANT LEVEL
Check the level of the coolant inside the
expansion reservoir on the right side of the
motorcycle at the intervals indicated in the
routine maintenance chart. It is visible from the
riding position (fig. 34.1).
The level should be between the MAX and
MIN marks on the tank.
Top up with recommended fluid if level is low.
Remove the right side guard of the instrument
panel following the instructions on page 170.
Undo the filler plug (fig. 34.2) and top up to
correct level.
Important
If recommended fluid is hard to find on
your market, top up with tap water. Replace with
recommended fluid as soon as possible.
Retighten the plug and refit the fairing.
Warning
Never fill in fluid through the radiator plug
when the engine is still warm.
Ideal performance is obtained when the solution
starts freezing, i.e. at –20 °C/–4 °F. For this
reason, the recommended fluid must be diluted
in a water solution as follows:
Antifreeze: 35 – 40% of volume;
Water: 65 – 60% of volume.
CONTROLE NIVEAU LIQUIDE
REFRIGERANT
Avec la périodicité prescrite par le tableau
d'entretien périodique, contrôlez le niveau du
liquide réfrigérant à l'intérieur du réservoir
d'expansion, sur le côté droit du véhicule. On
peut le contrôler de la position de conduite (fig.
34.1).
Il doit être compris entre les références MAX
et MIN marquées sur le réservoir.
Si le niveau devait être trop bas, il faudra faire
l'appoint avec le liquide prescrit.
Retirez le cache latéral droit du tableau de bord
ainsi qu'il est décrit à la page 170.
Dévissez le bouchon de remplissage (fig. 34.2) et
ajoutez le liquide neuf jusqu'à obtenir le niveau
prescrit.
Important
Si le réfrigérant prescrit n'est pas
facilement repérable, vous pouvez faire l'appoint
exceptionnellement avec de l'eau de robinet.
Remplacez-la pourtant par le liquide de
refroidissement conseillé aussitôt possible
Vissez de nouveau le bouchon et remontez le
cache ôté.
Attention
N'ajoutez aucunement de liquide par le
bouchon de remplissage du radiateur si le
moteur est encore chaud.
Pour obtenir les conditions optimales de service
(qui correspondent à un début de congélation du
mélange à -20 °C) le liquide de refroidissement
prescrit doit être mélangé à l'eau dans les
proportions qui suivent:
