    INSTALLATION Installing the Camera If not mounting, but just using on a flat surface (desk, table, etc.), skip to step 3 Insert the two screws (and anchors, if needed) into a stable surface, ceiling or wall 5.5cm apart and level. Loosen the T-Bolt on the Camera Bracket using a screwdriver, coin or similar tool and adjust viewing angle.
  • Page 11 INSTALLATION Installing the Camera Insert the two 18650 batteries and connect the wires as shown. The camera will power up and the status LED will blink red/blue to indicate it is ready to be paired. Make sure the battery wires are firmly connected to the camera, or press and hold the Reset button until the status LED blinks red/blue.

    REMOTE ACCESS Overview This camera allows you to view live video from an iPhone , iPad , iPod Touch or Android ® ® ® smartphone or tablet. Free apps are available through the Apple App Store or Google Play. IMPORTANT: This camera allows only one remote user accessing it at any given time.

    Download the ALC SightHD App as follows: APPLE DEVICE: From your iPhone or iPad, go to the App Store and search for ALC SightHD. ANDROID DEVICE: From your Android smartphone or tablet device, go to Google Play and search for ALC SightHD.

    Connecting Via the Android App After inserting the batteries or using the AC adapter, the Status indicator will blink red and blue. Launch the ALC SightHD App and the Setup Wizard screen will appear. Tap “+” to add a new system. Tap Battery Cameras.

  • Page 18 REMOTE ACCESS Connecting Via the Android App You will then be requested to change your Security Code if this is the first time accessing the camera. Enter a Security Code and remember it or write it down for future use. Enter this code a second time to confirm and tap Save.

    Prior to beginning, ensure that your iPhone is connected to your Wi-Fi network. This network must be a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection, not a 5GHz connection. 2.4GHz is the most common. Launch the ALC SightHD App and the Setup Wizard screen will appear.

  • Page 21 REMOTE ACCESS Connecting Via the Apple App Point your device’s camera to the SensorCam’s barcode. Confirm your Wi-Fi network is selected and enter your Wi-Fi password. Tap Next when done. NOTE: The SensorCam’s barcode is located on the back or side of the camera. Read and follow the instructions on the next screen.
  • Page 22 REMOTE ACCESS Connecting Via the Apple App NOTE: Steps 7 to 10 are for iOS 10 only. The Apple device will take you to your device’s settings app and a notification will pop-up. Allow this notification to go away. Once the notification goes away, tap Settings in the top, left corner (as shown on the right picture).
  • Page 23 REMOTE ACCESS Connecting Via the Apple App Tap Wi-Fi as shown. From the list of networks available, select SensorCam-xxxxxx. The default Password is 12345678 enter it when prompted and tap Join. When the connection is successful, a check mark next to SensorCam will appear.
  • Page 24 REMOTE ACCESS Connecting Via the Apple App Tap on ALC SightHD in the very top left corner of screen. Your device will take you from the setting’s app to the ALC Sight HD app to complete the set up. When the app finishes the setup tap OK.

Tap OK when the notification asking you to modify your security code appears. Enter a new Security Code. This can be letters or numbers or a combination and tap Confirm when done.
