Troubleshooting guide.
IMPORTANT: Make sure to always disconnect the negative cable from the battery if you are
going to be working on or under the vehicle. Failure to do so can result in serious injury if the
system is accidentally activated.
Problem

Display will not light up,
green light is off.
Display will not light up,
green light is on.
Display lights up, but
displays "EE".
Display lights up, but
displays "--".
Display lights up, but does
not read correctly.
Display flashes constantly.
Display will not dim.
Display remains dim at all
times.
Switches will not operate
any of the solenoids.
Possible cause
PWR terminal does not have
power.
GND terminal is not getting
a good ground.
Ground wire on control system Connect ground to a different location.
is not connected properly
Power wire on control system
is not powered.
Ignition key is off.
Accessory wire is not getting
power.
Loose wire.
Display is damaged.
Sender is not connected
to controller.
Wire between controller and
sender is broken.
Sender is not grounding
properly.
Controller is damaged.
Sender is damaged.
Sender wire is shorted to
ground.
Controller is damaged.
Loose connection on
power wire.
Poor sender ground.
Poor ground connection.
Incorrect sender type.
Gauge is set for the wrong
sender type.
System is not able to bring the Check auto presets and air lines.
bags up to the set pressure.
Tank has improper air
pressure.
DIM terminal is not connected
correctly.
Gauge is damaged.
DIM terminal is getting power
all of the time.
Battery is very low.
Gauge is damaged.
10A fuse is blown.

Solution
Check connections to control system.
Connect ground to a different location.
Connect the large red wire to a constant 12V
power source. (do not use a battery charger)
Turn key on.
Connect the red/white wire to power with the
key on.
Check connections to display.
Return display for repair. (see instructions)
Connect wires from controller to sender
terminals.
Test and replace wire.
Sender grounds through it's mounting
threads. Make sure the threads are
clean. Do Not Use Tape or Sealant
on Sender Threads.
Return controller for repair. (contact factory)
Return for replacement. (see instructions)
Check wire for damaged insulation, replace
if necessary.
Return controller for repair. (contact factory)
Reconnect wire going to PWR terminal.
Make sure sender case is getting a solid ground.
Move ground to different location
Make sure sender has been replaced with
the correct type (SEN-03-1 or -5).
Reset the sender type (switch #1).
Check air level and air pump.
Check wiring connections.
Return gauge for repair. (contact factory)
Connect DIM terminal to location that only
has power when the headlights are on.
Recharge or replace vehicle battery.
Return gauge for repair. (contact factory)
Replace fuse.
