CAUTIONS

"Purifi ed" means water which has been processed through the purifi er.
NOTE
"Unpurifi ed" means water straight from the water faucet.
Use this unit only with a potable water source.
Do not use the unit with water pressure greater than
stated on page 21.
At the beginning of use each day, water should be
run through the Purifi er for about 6 seconds before
using. (The water inside is stagnant.)
If the unit has not been used for a long time, set
the selector lever to "Unpurifi ed" and let water fl ow
through the unit. Then switch to "Purifi ed" and run
water for about 3 minutes.
Do not use with water that is microbiologically
unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate
disinfection before or after this unit.
Use purifi ed water for cooking and drinking only.
This will prolong the life of the cartridge.
Do not run hot water (35 °C or above) through the
purifi er. (It may damage the unit.)

If you want to draw purifi ed water and keep it, pour
the water into a clean container and close it tight.
Then store it in a refrigerator. Use the water within
2 days.
Do not use detergent, cleanser, thinner, benzine,
alcohol, kerosene, etc.
(These may cause cracks, discolouration, or deformation.)
Do not use purifi ed water in fi sh tanks or aquariums.
(Changes in the tank environment may cause fi sh and
other organisms to die.)
Keep the unit from freezing.
Do not place the unit where high temperatures
occur.
(Freezing can damage the cartridge. High temperatures
may cause the unit to change color.)
