1.2 How to turn on and off

Refer to the figure in section 1.1
Note: The trigger on the Ring Scanner and Finger Trigger Glove work as SCAN buttons.
On the keypad variation, the DOWN button is in the lower area.
a) P ress and hold the SC AN + DOWN buttons sim ultaneously for 3 sec onds.
b) T he KDC w ill beep w hen it is turned ON.

Pairing (Bluetooth or NFC)

Connecting your KDC using Bluetooth is made easy with the below pairing barcodes.
If using an Android device, pairing via NFC is even easier: just approaching the KDC to the back of the host
device's NFC area is enough for pairing. For more details, see

2.1 Bluetooth Profiles Explained

a. HID P rof ile: Allow s one-w ay Bluetooth c omm unic ation w ith an Android or iOS host
devic e. The KDC only transmits data to the host device.
b. SPP P rof ile: Allow s tw o-w ay Bluetooth comm unic ation. The KDC transm its data to the
host devic e and the host devic e c an transm it data back to the KDC.
c. HID W indow s P rof ile: Allow s one-w ay Bluetooth com munic ation w ith W indow s host
devic e. The KDC only transmits data to the host device.
Note: HI D inputs data direc tly into an applic ation. SPP requires the KOAMT AC SDK to
