Never remove the cover on a power supply or any part that has this label attached. Hazardous voltage,
current, and energy levels are present inside any component that has this label attached. There are no
serviceable parts inside these components. If you suspect a problem with one of these parts, contact
a service technician.
Before you install the fixed power supply unit, complete the following steps:
1. Read "Safety" on page iii and "Installation Guidelines" on page 34 to ensure that you work safely.
Note: If the server is installed with Delta fixed 300W PSU: when the AC power is dropout without the proper
server power off process, wait for at least 10 seconds to re-plug the AC power to the server.
To install the fixed power supply, complete the following steps:

Step 1.
Align the pins with the slots on the chassis; then, lower the power supply unit into the server.
Step 2.
Slide the power supply unit backward to lock the pins into the slots.
Step 3.
Install the screws that secure the power supply unit.
Step 4.
Connect the internal power cable to system board, see "Fixed power supply cables" on page 26.
After you install the fixed power supply unit, complete the following steps:
1. Install the top cover onto the server (see "Install the top cover" on page 56).
2. Install the server into the rack if necessary.
3. Reconnect power cords and all external cables.

Install a DIMM

Use this information to install a DIMM.
Before you install a DIMM, complete the following steps:
1. Read "Safety" on page iii and "Installation Guidelines" on page 34 to ensure that you work safely.
2. Remove the air baffle if necessary (see "Remove the air baffle" on page 38).
