TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
No power to machine
Little or no propel
Machine does not change
speeds
Forward speed only
Reverse speed only
Deck won't go up or down
Pad motor won't run
Deck vibrates
Dust leaks from skirts

CAUSE
Battery disconnected
Emergency shut-off activated
Battery cables corroded
Faulty key switch
Low battery charge
Machine turned on with pedal not in
neutral position
Tripped circuit breaker
Controller overheated
Loose motor connection
Faulty throttle circuit or potentiometer
Faulty drive reset circuit or switch
Faulty operator presence pedal

Faulty platform circuit or switch
Brake over-ride engaged
Faulty brake circuit or over-ride
switch
Faulty speed control circuit or switch
Faulty forward/reverse switch
Circuit breaker tripped
Fuse blown

SOLUTION
Check all battery cable connections
Reset
Clean connections
Replace switch
Charge batteries
Allow pedal to return to neutral.
Restart
Reset circuit breaker
Allow cool down period
Check wires and connections from controller to
motor
Check wires and connections from throttle to
controller and potentiometer resistance
Check wires, connections and switch
Check wires, connections and switch
Check wires, connections and switch
Disengage brake over-ride
Check wires, connections and switch
Check wires, connections and switch
Replace switch
Reset circuit breaker
Replace fuse
Check switch or connections
Check pad motor relay
Re-center or replace pad using pad install tool
Check for blockage and clear if needed
