Sheet Metal Nibbler
1. Remove the clear cover (4) from the jigsaw side if the attachment
and slide the clamping piece (7) into the slot and over the saw
blade. Then screw the handle (5) onto the clamping piece until
everything is secured. Tighten the handle hand-tight, do not use
tools. Reattach the clear cover (4).
2. Clamp the work piece in such a way that a free space of at least
15 cm under the work piece remains.
3. The cutting shaft holders (2) can be turned by 360 degrees as
desired. Use the included hex key to (8) to loosen the clamping
screw (see drawing on the right, above). Turn the cutting shaft
holder to the desired position and tighten the clamping screw.
Before each use make sure the clamping screws and shaft hold-
ers are tight.
4. Attach the drive shaft (1) to the chock of the power drill (make
sure everything is straight!). User the Retainer (9)!
5. Use one hand to hold the power drill and the other hand to hold
the handle (5).
6. Run the power drill at a speed of 1500 – 3000 revolutions per
minute. If needed use the second gear of the machine to reduce
the force. Place the cutting shaft against the edge of the work
piece and perform the desired cutting.
