    Congratulations! You are the owner of a carefully designed and manufactured equipment. Thank you for your confidence in choosing the EPC200s, “heart” of our EPC processed system. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you read this manual before connecting the unit in order to obtain its maximum performance.

  • Page 5: Connections

    To start the EPC200s push the switch labelled POWER (6) and the green pilot-light inside the switch will shine. Although the noise produced when starting up the EPC200s is minimum, we highly recommend to start the audio chain following the sequence: sound sources, mixer, equalizers, EPC200s and power amplifiers.

    The use of active circuitry can yield, depending on the configuration, to a significant noise level. The EPC200s have been designed for the least possible noise. Anyway, the noise level will always depend on the correct use and installation of the whole system and, specially, the mixer.

  • Page 9 El EPC200s ha sido diseñado para potenciar las excelentes prestaciones del sistema ECLER EPC. Se trata de un aparato para trabajar única y exclusivamente con el sistema EPC, su utilización en otras configuraciones electroacústicas no está contemplada y podría causar daños.
  • Page 10 INDICADOR OVERLOAD (3-4-5). Indicadores luminosos de saturación de alguna de las salidas (L-bajos, M-medios, H-agudos). Son comunes a ambos canales de entrada (L y R). Estos indicadores nunca deben iluminarse ya que ello significaría que el EPC200s está entregando un nivel de señal excesivo a la entrada de los amplificadores.
  • Page 11 Si aún observando estas medidas se produjeran zumbidos de masa, el EPC200s incorpora un interruptor GROUND LINK (19) cuya misión es desconectar la masa eléctrica del aparato de la masa mecánica.
