mode, allowing you to control the rate of your delay on the fly. This feature can also be disabled in
Hardware Options by unchecking "Enable Tap Tempo on Delay/Tap Footswitch". It is important to
note that because of the dual functionality of the DELAY/TAP switch, you must press and hold the
switch for a split second to bypass the delay. It is also possible with the Neuro Editor to reset the
amount hold-down time necessary to bypass the delay, which has an effect on the sensitivity of the
tap tempo.
The DELAY/TAP switch can also be used to scroll through the user presets. While the delay is
bypassed, press and hold the DELAY/TAP switch to scroll downward through user presets.
Tap Beat Division Toggle Switch
Use this switch to select the beat division of your tapped tempo. Quarter note will give you exactly
what you tapped in. Dotted Eighth will divide your tapped beats into dotted eighth notes for the
classic "Edge" effect, and Triplets will divide your tapped beats into triplets. Alternate beat division
options are available in the Neuro Mobile App and Neuro Desktop Editors.
REVERB Footswitch
Enables or bypasses the reverb effect. By default the Collider uses a True/Hard Bypass Mode, but it is
also possible to switch to a Buffered Bypass (see the Universal Bypass section for more information)
or Trails Mode Bypass (see the Trails Mode section).
The REVERB Footswitch also serves a second function. When the effect is engaged, pressing and
holding the REVERB footswitch will engage Reverb HOLD Mode, freezing your reverb tail indefinitely
and allowing you to play on top of the sustained reverb.
The REVERB switch can also be used to scroll through the user presets. While the reverb is bypassed,
press and hold the REVERB switch to scroll upward through user presets.
Trails Mode
By default, the Collider is set to Hard Bypass Mode, which means that the delay/reverb trails will stop
immediately upon bypassing the pedal. Trails Mode (also known as "Soft Bypass") is an optional
bypass mode that allows the delay/reverb trails to fade out naturally after the effect has been
bypassed.
Trails mode can be enabled from the
Editor. It is also possible to put the pedal into Trails mode by pressing the D
while holding the C
ONTROL
The small CONTROL INPUT LED on the right corner of the pedal will blink one time when the pedal is
in Normal Bypass mode and twice when the pedal is in Trails mode. Trails Mode is a global setting
and is NOT saved per preset.
Delay On/Off LED
The ON/OFF LED above the D
bypassed (not lit). This LED also monitors the rate of Tap Tempo with alternating red and green
blinks.
