Maintenance, Cleaning and Storing

With the hard cutting wheel up to 3000 m tiles can be cut. This depends on the
hardness of the tiles.
The hardness of the tile is essential for the durability of the cutting wheel and the
cutting performance. While making the scoring line with the cutting wheel on the
tile, make sure not to use too much force. If the sliding block is pressed too much
on the tile, the cut will become unclean and the durability of the cutting wheel will
be shorten.
1. To replace the hard cutting wheel, lift up
the large breaking foot (7) and unscrew
with a slot screwdriver the screw.
2. Replace the dull cutting wheel with a new
one. Under the article number 80 17 71
you can order an original cutting wheel.
3. Retighten the screw by hand only.
Tightening the Set Screws
After a long period of use the sliding block might
become loosened. Tighten the sliding block with
suitable Allen key of the size 3 and 2.5.
Tighten the set screws
by hand only!
Maintenance and Care
Keep the working table clean for optimal performance.
Wipe away dust and debris from the working table and the legs.
Store the tile cutter with stand in a dry location and protect the unit from dust
and dirt.
