    Horizontal installation of the cylinder with holding brake For horizontal installation when using the holding brake for holding, the foot mounting HNC/HNG available as an accessory is recommendedè www.festo.com/catalogue. The HNC/HNG foot mounting is not approved for use with the holding brake to stop movements.

  • Page 33 If the product does not achieve the required properties in the tests or shows damage: • Replace the product or have Festo repair it. The holding brake and the cylinder with holding brake are lubricated for life. Additional lubrication is not necessary.
