This instruction supplement is not intended to replace the CD-ROM manual that's supplied with
your radio. It is intended to provide guidance on setting up this radio for use with a model
submarine, and to act as a supplement to the original manual. Although this guide will help the user
get the WFT08 configured for use to make the most of the capabilities of the WFT08 it is still up to
the user to read through the supplied CD-ROM manual.
The setup described within is intended to be somewhat generic, but certain assumptions have been
made about the model with which it will be used. These instructions have been written around a
model which has both sternplanes and operable (but non-retracting) bowplanes as may be found
on many KILO, Seawolf, or Skipjack models. Many other combinations are possible and depending
on the users' model some of the functions shown here may not be necessary or may need to be set

RECEIVER CONNECTIONS In order for the programming made above to control the correct functions/surfaces on your model a matching set of servo connection must also be made at the receiver.
