Principle of operation

The "Digital Time Clock" function, together with the Real Time Clock in the inverter,
allows signals to be switched on and off in a time-controlled manner.
Examples:
Switchover from day to night operation of a temperature control.
Switching a process control from working day to weekend.
The SINAMICS G120P inverter has three independently adjustable timers. You can
connect the timer output to any binector input of your inverter, e.g. a digital output
or the enable signal of a technology controller.
