7. Position the extension rod so that the roll tube will not
be touching the slide room.
NOTE: Make sure the access bracket (Fig.12) is flush
with the access plate, attached above or below the
T-molding of the slide-out.
8. Install the two provided
top two holes of the access bracket (Fig.16) if using the
lower position (Fig.11). Install two set screws in the lower
two holes of the access bracket (Fig.17) if using the higher
position (Fig.12).

9. Center the Solera
Slide Topper over the slide room

using a tape measure.
10. Fasten the extension rods (Fig.18A) to the access
brackets (Fig.18B) by installing two of the provided

" self-drilling hex washer head screws (Fig.18C).

ROLL TUBE SPRINGS ARE UNDER TENSION.
IMPROPERLY SECURED ROLL TUBE SPRINGS
CAN CAUSE PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR
PRODUCT DAMAGE. SLOWLY RELEASE SPRING
TENSION TO AVOID PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR
PRODUCT DAMAGE.
11. Firmly hold the roll tube, slightly turn back the roll-tube
to relieve a little tension, then remove the spring clip to
completely relieve the spring tension. Carefully release the
roll tube and allow the roll tube to rest into position.
Securing the Fabric
1. Extend and retract the room several times to ensure that
the fabric is square on the roll tube.
2. Secure the fabric (Fig.19A) in the awning rail (Fig.19B) no
more than 1" inside the edge of the fabric on both ends

" hex head screw (Fig.19C). Install the screw
using a #6 x
(Fig.19C) down through the awning rail (Fig.19B) into the
fabric (Fig.19A) and the polycord (Fig.19D).
