The factory installed Solera 3000 motor driven awning was installed on metal "cage" supports inside the fiberglass outside wall. Unfortunately, we have discovered that the awning is a total of 1" too wide for the installed channel bracket, causing the outer arm to rub against the mounting bracket. Remounting one of the arm assemblies is not an option because of the internal steel "stud" locations. Is it possible to re-position the shaft internal to the roller? Is there a better option?
Notes System Information The Solera® Power Awning features an internal motor to steadily operate the awning. Additionally, the friction joint allows for rain dump and adjustable pitch features, and there is no rafter arm to lock in place. The friction joint also provides added stability.

Adjusting Pitch - All Solera Awnings NOTe: The awning will pitch itself to purge the pooling of excess water and may dump a significant amount of water without notice. Pitch can be set by adjusting the articulating arm to tip one side of the awning to allow water runoff.
During incidents of high wind, heavy rain or extended time away from the unit, it is advisable to retract the awning completely to prevent damage to the awning and the RV. Fig. 7 Fig. 8 Rev: 06.01.2018 Page 5 Solera® Power Awning Owner's...
