Concerning the cartridge
Replacement procedure
● Turn off the faucet before proceeding.

Remove the cartridge.

Install the new cartridge.
● The cartridge life indicator is automatically set to the "Start (New)" position.
The indicator may not be set to the "Start (New)" position if the cartridge is inclined at an angle
or if it was turned and installed too quickly. If this is the case, install the cartridge again.

cartridge, turn it slowly.

Allow about 6 liters of water to
flow through the product at the
purified water setting (this will
take about 3 minutes).
(This is done to expel the air inside the
cartridge.)
Important
● Replace the cartridge in a sink since some of the water may be spilled in the process.
● Do not overtighten the cartridge.
(Doing so may damage the thread which in turn may cause water to leak.)
● Air bubbles may collect in the cartridge life indicator (window area) or a whistling sound may be
heard.
(This happens because the air inside the cartridge is being expelled: It is normal and not an
indication that something is wrong with the product.)
