Before You Call For Service
If you are having an operating problem,
check the chart to see what the cause
might be before you call for assistance.
OPERATING PROBLEM
Nothing operates.
CHECK IF
n
Range is properly connected to a live
circuit with the proper voltage.
9 Your home's main fuse has blown or
circuit breaker has tripped.
WHAT TO DO
9 Contact an authorized RoperSM service
technician to reconnect range to electrical
supply. (See Installation Instructions.)

Replace fuse or reset circuit breaker.
Oven will not operate.
. The Oven Selector is turned to BAKE
or BROIL.

The Oven Temperature Control is
turned to a temperature setting.
. The Cook Timer is set correctly.
9 If needed, set Oven Selector to BAKE or
BROIL. If Oven Selector is turned to TIMED
BAKE, wait until the start time is reached.
1 If needed, turn the Oven Temperature
Control to a temperature setting.

completely closed the oven door.

Modify recipe or find a new recipe.

Use cooking utensils with smooth, flat
bottoms.

Preheat the oven according to recipe's
specifications.
