5.9 Piping Methods - Full Flow or Bypass Flow

There are two recommended piping configurations for heating pool water, Full Flow and Bypass
Flow. Both are described in the following subsections.

5.9.1 Full Flow Piping Method

A full flow system is recommended if the total system flow of the swimming pool or spa system is
within five gallons per minute of the recommended system water flow as shown in the table below.
