Using the Pen

The PPT 41xx comes with a pen (p/n 50-12000-031), which,
depending upon the application running on your terminal, can
be used to select items on the screen, as a mouse is used, or to
write characters directly on the screen, which can be used in an
application performing character recognition.
Using the Pen to Select an Item
1. Remove the pen from the back of the terminal by pressing
on the "dotted" area of the pen, and sliding it out of the
pen slot.
