3 Installation instructions
3.1 Assigning the AS−Interface address
Please note
The AS−Interface address of the valve terminal type
CPV..−GE−ASI−4E4A−... is stored electronically (no bat
tery) after every modification and can be modified at
least 10 times. After that the valve terminal maintains
the last set AS−Interface address.
We recommend that you use the Festo addresser type ASI−
PRG−ADR with adapter cable type KASI−ADR.
Before connecting to the AS−Interface bus: assign an un
used address to each slave. Set the desired address with
the AS−Interface addresser. The permitted address range is
1 ... 31.
The factory setting of the terminal is address 0. It is not
necessary to parametrize the AS−Interface slaves.
