Changing the sound quality

by remote control only
To adjust the tone quality

The tone level can be varied within a range of -6 to +6.
Press [BASS (– or +)] to adjust the low-frequency
sound.
Press [TREBLE (– or +)] to adjust the high-frequency
sound.
Note
The effect works only with playback. It cannot be used in recording.
Hints
Place speakers on stands (not included) to reproduce clearer low-
range sounds.
Using the "live" effect (SOUND

VIRTUALIZER)
The sound virtualizer leaves middle-range sounds such as vocals
clear and gives natural width and depth to music.
Sound virtualizer is effective with stereo sound.
Press [SOUND VIRTUALIZER] to display "

• When listening through headphones, the effect is less discernible
than through the unit's speakers.
• If interference in FM stereo reception increases, cancel the sound
virtualizer effect.
