Operating the Hair Cutter
In addition, the lever extends the life of your blades, as the blades are worn
differently on each setting.
If individual hairs get caught between the blades when cutting very wavy hair,
you can remove these by moving the lever up and down. To free the blades
from bits of hair, move the lever quickly from "shorter cut" to "longer cut" a few
times whilst the motor is running.
If the unit no longer cuts properly, then the blades have become blunt and
must be replaced.

Maintenance and Cleaning

The blades are carefully adjusted at the factory. After cleaning or replacement
of the blades, these must be re-aligned.
The lower row of teeth must be set to be
approx. 1.2 mm longer than the upper row
1,2 mm
(when the adjustment lever is upright).
Slightly loosen both screws on the rear side of
the fixed blade and then align the blade. Then
re-tighten the screws.
The blades should be regularly oiled to
guarantee problem-free running over a long
period.
Only use fine machine oil. Put a couple of
drops of machine oil onto the blade tips and
switch the unit on for a few seconds to
distribute the oil. Then wipe off any excess oil.
Do not use abrasives or aggressive chemicals
to clean the unit. Use only a soft cloth.
