Maintenance, Cleaning and Storing

Switch off the unit before cleaning.
The blade should be regularly oiled to guarantee problem-free running
over a long period.
1. Put only a couple of drops oil onto the blade and switch on the device
for a few seconds to distribute the oil. Then wipe off any excess oil.
Only use suitable oil (e.g. vegetable oil) to avoid damaging the device.
2. Do not use abrasives or aggressive chemicals to clean the housing or
the adaptor. Use only a soft moistened cloth.
▪ Store the hair clipper indoors at a dry place that is protected from dust,
dirt and extreme temperatures.
▪ Store the hair clipper out of reach of children.

Removing the Blade

1. First remove the comb guide, as described above.
2. Hold the hair trimmer with one hand and tilt the blade down. Only use
little pressure to remove the engaged blade.
3. Use the included cleaning brush (12) or similar to remove remaining
hair and attach the blade into the notch.
4. You will find a notch in the hair trimmer. First insert the pin into the
notch and press the blade in the hair trimmer until it locks audible. The
blade has to be flush with the housing.
If the device no longer cuts properly, then the blade has become blunt
and must be replaced.
