Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the hair cutter
machine.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed
to use the unit, unless they are supervised for their safety by a qualified
person or are briefed by the responsible person how to use the unit.
Do not leave the hair cutter unattended when plugged in.
Supervise closely when the units are used near children. The units are not
toys and do not belong in the hands of children.
Before use, make sure that the blades are accurately aligned. For this,
please read chapter Maintenance and Cleaning on page 14.
Only use the units for the purpose described in this manual. Do not use
any accessories not recommended by Westfalia.
Never use the hair cutter if a comb is damaged or broken, or the teeth are
broken off, as this can lead to injury.
Do not use the units in the bath or shower.
Never use the units outdoors or in the presence of aerosol products
(sprays) or acids are used.
Do not keep the units in a place where they can fall or be pulled into a
bathtub or washbasin.
Do not immerse the units in liquids of any kind.
Never pick up the hair cutter if it has fallen into water. Pull the plug from
the power mains socket first.
Never use this hair cutter or the hose hair trimmer if the hair cutter, the
cable, the casing or the plug is damaged, or if it is not working properly.
