Maintenance of Shell & coil heat exchager
1) Chemical Washing
5 % Phosphoric acid / Water / NaOH
1) Connect water piping in sizes 25A to 32A expansion pipe fitting.
2) Connect the SCHEX and circulation pump through the 32A water piping.
3) Install the drain pipe to the other pipe line.
4) After open upper plate of SCHEX, put 5 % Phosphoric acid aqueous solution in the case. And close the upper
plate.
5) Circulation washing for 30 minutes, using a circulation pump. After repeat 3 or 4 times this operation, discharge the
solution through the drain pipe.
6) 4),5) in the same way, circulation cleaning 3~4 times with clean water once every 30 minutes. And discharge the
water through the drain pipe.
7) Finally, In order to neutralize the acidic conditions of the coil, after circulates the water intermixed with NaOH,
discharge the water through the drain pipe.
