Noises
A confirmation tone (beep) sounds from time to time or frequently at irregular intervals. A third device
transmitting on the exact same frequency is attempting to register to the main unit. In this case, it is
recommended to change the location of the main unit in order to leave the range of the interfering
transmitter. If the confirmation tone sounds irregularly, it is recommended to take no action as the cause
is most likely a mobile device.
Temperature deviation
The temperatures shown by the main unit and sensor are not identical. Both devices (main unit and
sensor) are independently functioning measuring points. It is highly unlikely that both measuring points
will show the exact same reading even if they are located at nearly the same measuring site. More
than one temperature can be measured in a room at any given time and measuring points work with a
tolerance of +/- 2 °C. In extreme cases, a temperature deviation of over 4 °C could thus theoretically
occur at the same measuring site.
