ALARM SETTINGS
Note: Setting the alarm time will automatically activate the alarm if it has been deactivated before.
• Activating/deactivating the alarm: Press the MODE button (B2) to enter the alarm mode. Then press
the UP (B3) or DOWN (B4) buttons to activate or deactivate the alarm.
• When the alarm is activated, the display shows a bell icon.
Alarm signal
• Briefly interrupt the alarm: Push the SNZ button (B1).
The alarm sounds again after 5 minutes.
• Stop the alarm for the present day: Push the MODE button (B2).
The alarm stays activated and sounds again the next day at the pre-set time.
• Note: End input mode automatically - If no button is pressed for several seconds, the device
automatically ends input mode.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
Temperature display
• On the main unit: Press the UP (B3) button to select Celsius or Fahrenheit as unit for the
temperature display.
• Outdoor sensor: Press the °C/°F (D4) pushbutton on the backside of the outdoor sensor to switch
between °C/°F.
Background light
• Turning on the backlight (during battery operation): Push the SNZ button (B1). The backlight turns
on for ca. 10 seconds.
Channel selection for outdoor sensor
• On the main unit: Press the CH (B5) button to select the desired channel.
• Outdoor sensor: Use the channel pushbutton CHANNEL (D4) on the backside of the outdoor sensor
to select the desired channel. If you are operating the main unit with only one outdoor sensor, simply
leave the outdoor sensor set to channel "1".
3D weather icons
• After connecting to the mains the 3D weather icons light up. The device analyses the weather data
and then displays the weather information. You may perform this function manually by pressing the
SNZ button (B1).
• When powering the device via mains adapter, the currently valid weather icon remains on. During
battery operation the current weather icon lights up every 5 minutes..
