Please note the included General Safety Notes and the following
safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage or physical injury:
 Dispose of used packaging material carefully or store it out of the reach of
children. There is a danger of suffocation!
 Make sure the main voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the type
label.
 Only use the unit for the intended use and do not use it for lighting a fire, for
drying clothes or other objects.
 Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the unit, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a
qualified person.
 Never leave the switched on unit unattended and keep it out of reach of
children and persons in need of supervision.
 Disconnect the unit from the power mains when it is not in use. Please note
that the unit is still hot after switching off. There is risk of burn and fire hazard!
 Never move the unit by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught
in any way. Do not wind the cord around the unit and do not bend it.
 Be careful when using the unit near flammable or easy fusible materials such
as plastics or glass. Do not direct the unit for long time at the same place.
Never point the running unit to people, animals, plants, flammable objects or
liquids.
 Do not use the unit in explosive atmosphere.
 Be aware that heat may be conducted to combustible materials that are out of
sight.
 The unit is designed for operation in altitudes of up to 2000 m above sea level.
 Please note that poisonous gases may be emitted while removing paint. Use
suitable inhalation protection and ensure adequate ventilation.
 Keep the air slots and the nozzle clean to avoid overheating the unit and to
prevent from fire hazard.
 Use original accessory only.
 Should the unit become damaged do not use it any further and have it repaired
by a professional or contact our customer service. Do not disassemble the unit
or try repairing it yourself.
