3-2-2 LOG IN
The slide stainer HMS 740 has a user-defined
name and password inquiry with three different
access authorization levels. When turning on the
instrument, dialog fields with the user name and
password inquiry become visible on the touch
screen. The user name and the password can be
entered here.

For the initial turn on, "Name" (fig. A) and the
the word "admin" must be entered and
confirmed with "OK".

Enter the password "admin" into the dialog
field password line (fig. B) and confirm with
"OK".
Alteration of the access authorization:

Tip onto the menu button.

Then select "Settings".

Select "User management".
A table is opened (fig. C). Different user names
and the corresponding passwords can be entered
here.
Hinweis:
The user name must include at least
one letter or one number. A password
can be entered, however, it is not
compulsory.
