• The Mewa stroller is intended to be controlled and propelled only by an assistant (parent, guardian). • The user of the Mewa stroller is both the child who will be transported in it and the child's assistant (his parent, guardian, doctor, physiotherapist) who will transport the child in the stroller and look after him.
Mewa Ver. 2 z dn. 2020-05-29 2. Basic information about the Mewa stroller The Mewa youth stroller has many options, e.g.: • backrest angle adjustment (see 10.3) • backrest and seat angle adjustment "Cradle" (see 10.2) • seat depth adjustment - seat minimizing kit (see 12.4)
• ATTENTION! Never exceed the maximum load. • ATTENTION! For Mewa stroller with load the maximum total load amounts to 35 kg. This value should not be exceeded. • ATTENTION! The maximum load of the travel bag is 2 kg.

It is forbidden to place additional weight on the stroller, which in particular applies to placing additional weight on the back of the back e.g. backpack or bag. This may cause the Mewa stroller to tip over and cause user injury! Does not apply to original additional accessories dedicated to the Mewa stroller not exceeding the permissible load.

Mewa Ver. 2 z dn. 2020-05-29 The operations before each use of the stroller include: ➢ Check the stroller for visible damage or other defects that could endanger the child during stroller operation. ➢ Check that the stroller frame has been unfolded correctly and the frame folding mechanism has been correctly closed (locked).

8. General construction of the stroller The Mewa Special Stroller for children consists of two main parts: the frame of the stroller with seat and backrest and very rich additional equipment that should be selected according to the individual needs of users.

Locking the direction of travel of the front wheels The used, durable wheels guarantee the highest quality of stroller driving, driving pleasure and elegant appearance. The tires are tubeless, filled with a special gel that has shock absorbing properties very similar to those of inflatable wheels.

The correct wheel placement is demonstrated by the clear "click" sound coming from the quick axle rear axle mounting mechanism. • Dismantling the wheels from the axle. Footrest adjustment Normally the footrest plate is in a horizontal position. However, during transport, storage, rehabilitation, getting on and off the Mewa stroller, the footrest plate must be folded and turned towards the footrest frame. P a g e | 18...
Mewa Ver. 2 z dn. 2020-05-29 10. Configuration and use - therapeutic seat with backrest Assembly and disassembly of the seat to the frame The two frame hooks that are attached to the seat are very important parts of the stroller. They serve the purpose of attaching the seat to the stroller’s frame.
Reclining back handle 11. Basic equipment Five-point belts The Mewa stroller is standard equipped with professional five- point seat belts • Five-point belts adjustment. Adjust the five-point belts to your child before attaching them. To adjust the length of the belts, move the adjusters on the braces up or down and move the protectors accordingly.
Mewa Ver. 2 z dn. 2020-05-29 Safety barrier The Mewa stroller can be equipped with a safety barrier that prevents the sitting child from falling forward in certain indications.. • The safety barrier is mounted with the same fixings as the therapeutic table, so you cannot use both of these elements at the same time.
Lining pads Upholstery The Mewa stroller is equipped with upholstery, which is completely removed for cleaning. To do this, detach all the elements fastening it to the stroller frame. How to clean the upholstery is described in point 17.8. Cleaning and care.
Unfasten the upholstery at both sides / Release the knobs / Fasten the upholstery Therapeutic table The Mewa stroller can be equipped with a non-slip therapeutic table with a maximum load of 3kg. – Fig.12.3. The therapeutic table is mounted with the same fixings as the safety barrier so you cannot use both of these elements at the same time.
The large and elegant travel bag is mounted on two handles on the inside of the handle to push the stroller (see Fig. 12.5). The maximum bag load is 2kg. Sun umbrella The Mewa stroller can be equipped with a Sun umbrella (see Fig. 12.6) that helps protect the child from the sun. Winter gloves Two winter gloves that increase the comfort of a child's assistant during colder weather can be put on the handle to push the stroller (see Fig.12.7).
Raincover The Mewa stroller can be equipped with a rain cover that helps protect the child from moisture. This optional equipment requires mounting to other optional equipment. To mount the rain cover, put it on top of the entire adjustable canopy with window and then cover the seat and footrest with the cover (see Fig.

The multifunctionality and extensive equipment of the Mewa stroller allow you to tailor the stroller to your personal requirements. To do this, read the entire manual carefully before use.

Preparation for use Before using the stroller: o it is necessary to ensure that the child's footwear is comfortable and stabilizes the ankle well. o make sure that the child is not placed in the stroller without clothing covering the body in places of contact with the upholstery of the stroller.
Transport in a car and other vehicles To transport the Mewa stroller in the car, remove all accessories from the stroller and store them in a safe place. Then dismantle the stroller (see chapter 15) and place it in the trunk.
Mewa Ver. 2 z dn. 2020-05-29 Stains should be removed immediately after they appear on the surface of the stroller. Do not rub - rubbing will spread the stain to a larger surface and may distort the texture of the fabric.

Therefore, their features and performance may deviate from the new product to such an extent that the safety of patients and third parties during their use is at risk.

Mewa Ver. 2 z dn. 2020-05-29 o Cleaning the stroller - Clean any moving parts, bearings, adjustment mechanisms with a soft cloth and then lubricate them with a few drops of light oil. Be careful not to soil the upholstery of the stroller or your own clothes.

Compliance with requirements for medical devices The Yeti stroller meets the essential requirements of Council of Europe Directive 93/42 EEC amended by 2007/47/EC for medical devices. The Yeti stroller, in accordance with Directive 93/42 EEC, is a non-invasive, inactive medical device of class I according to rule 1.
