How to replace the cartridge
● Turn off the faucet before starting.
Do not run the water when the cartridge has been removed. Water will overflow.

Remove the old cartridge.
● Remove the cartridge in the sink. (Water will drip)
● The cartridge will come off by turning it in the
direction of the arrow as shown on the right.

Install the new cartridge.
1. Mark the month when the cartridge was replaced
using a permanent marker.
Example: Replaced in March
2. Insert the cartridge in the direction of the arrow.
3. Slowly turn it in the direction of the arrow until it stops.
● Do not over-tighten the cartridge.
(Doing so may damage the cartridge mount and
cause water to leak.)

4. Press the reset button (for 3 sec.)
(Do not press the button with pointed objects such
as a toothpick. Use an object with a rounded tip,
such as the rounded end of a toothpick.)
● The remaining volume that can be purified with
the cartridge will be reset to 4000L.

Turn on the faucet and set the selector
lever to "Purified" and allow water to
flow (For about 3 - 4 min.)
● Check that no water is leaking from the cartridge
mount when the water passes the product.

● Please dispose of the used cartridge according to the local laws and regulations.
(The cartridge case is made of ABS resin. See page 30 for Specifications of filter components)

● Even if replacing the cartridge when there is still remaining volume that can be purified, press
the reset button in step 2-4 until the remaining volume of 4000L is displayed. (For about 3
sec.) [This is to correctly display the cartridge's remaining volume that can be purified]
