About cartridge removal performance
n Substances that can be removed
● Free residual chlorine
● Total trihalomethane *1
● 2MIB (musty odor)
● Iron (fine particles) *2
● Geosmin (musty odor) *2
*1 This is a general term for four compounds: chloroform, bromodichloromethane,
dibromochloromethane, and bromoform.
*2 Substances subject to removal provided in the standards (JWPAS B Standards)
established by Japan Water Purifier Association (JWPA).
n Difference in usage period due to water quality
A hollow fiber membrane filter is built in the cartridge to remove fine dirt.
Therefore, the usage period becomes shorter for water containing more substances that
cause clogging.
