Check refractory lining for slag deposits and remove slag where
necessary
Check flame temperature thermocouples for damage
Check gaskets of combustion chamber door and ash removal sys-
tem
Check intake aperture for secondary air
Check grate for damage
Check fire bricks of combustion chamber door for cracks
Ignition system

Check ignition pipe for blockages and clean if necessary
Service heating system
Compressor system (optional)
Note
If the compressor is operating continuously, this indicates that

there is a leak in the compressed air system. Check supply lines
and valves for leaks.
In the case of on-site supply of compressed air, ensure that the
■
compressor is suitable for continuous operation or can be pre-
vented from operating continuously.
