LABELING THE DISKETTE DRIVES
Your controller (5285, 5286, or 5288) is prelabeled during manufacturing. The
following procedure applies only to the 5281 and/or 5282 with diskette drives.
If you do not have a 5281 or 5282 to label, but you do have a printer, go to
Labeling the Printer
later in this section. If you do not have a printer, go to
Section 8 and verify your system.
1. Look at the diskette drive cable.
On the cable is a label with the diskette drive address. If you see one address,
you have one diskette drive.

Device Address:
If you see two addresses, you have two diskette drives. For the 5281, the first
address represents the left diskette drive and the second address represents
the right diskette drive.
