connected the cables to all of the printers.
There are two types of printer address switches: address and terminator.

Before you can set the address switches, you must determine the device
address of the printer and the switch setting. There are five possible
switch settings, as shown in the following chart. The switch setting and
the device address are determined by the 5288 socket number and the
placement of the printer in the cabling sequence (first, second, third,
fourth, or last).
