Section 9. Communications Line Connection
Before you begin this section, the Verification Procedure in Section 8 of this
manual should have been completed.
1. Set the Power switch on the 5288 or 5285 to the 0 (Off)
position.
2. Connect the communications cable that extends from the
back of the controller (5288 or 5285) as follows:
a. Determine the communications type (first) by looking at the end of the
communications cable and (second) by looking at the following
illustrations, as illustrated on pages 135 through 138.
b. Once you have determined the communications type, go to the
appropriate step.
