ELECTRIC KETTLE SAFETY
7. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
8. Unplug Electric Kettle from outlet when not in use and
before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or
taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
9. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord
or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has
been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the
nearest Authorised Service Centre for examination,
repair, or adjustment.
10. Use of replacement parts not recommended by
manufacturer may result in fire, shock, or injury to
persons.
11. Do not use outdoors.
12. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or
touch hot surfaces.
13. To disconnect, turn any control to "OFF", then remove
plug from wall outlet.
14. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or
in a heated oven.
15. The Electric Kettle should only be used to heat water.
16. Do not use Electric Kettle with loose or weakened
handle.
17. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
18. Do not clean Electric Kettle with abrasive cleaners,
steel wool, or other abrasive materials.
19. The Electric Kettle is only to be used with the stand
provided.
20. Do not overfill kettle. If the kettle is overfilled, boiling
water may be ejected.
21. The heating element surface is subject to residual heat
after use. Do not touch hot surface. Use handles.
22. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the
brewing cycles.
