Attach the flat washer and the 2 hex
nuts (C, Fig3) and adjust for positive
eccentric clamping action
Install the dust chute with 4 self
tapping screws and 4 washers
(A, Fig 4).

Mount the cutter block guard (B, Fig5)
with 2 hex socket cap screws (A,
Fig5). The maximum clearance
between cutter block guard and table
may be no more than 75mm

5.3 Mains connection
Mains connection and any extension
cords used must comply with
applicable regulations.
The mains voltage must comply with
the information on the machine
licence plate.
The mains connection must have a 16
A surge-proof fuse.
Only use connection cables marked
H07RN-F
Connections and repairs to the
electrical equipment may only be
carried out by qualified electricians.
5.4 Dust connection
Before initial operation, the machine
must be connected to a dust extractor.
The suction should switch on
automatically when the jointer is
switched on.
The flow rate on the suction port must
be 20m/sec.
Flexible hoses must be of non-
flammable quality, and must be
connected to the machine ground
system.
5.5 Starting operation
You can start the machine with the
green on button. The red button on the
main switch stops the machine.
6. Machine operation
Correct operating position:
Position yourselves offset to the infeed
table (Fig 6).

Workpiece handling:
Feed the workpiece straight across the
infeed table, holding your fingers close
together, guiding the workpiece with
the palm of your hands.
Never put your hands under the cutter
block cover.
Always keep your hands well clear of
the cutter block
Do not pull the workpiece back over
the unguarded cutter block

Always plane the workpiece over its
entire length.
Planing the face of a workpiece up
to 75mm thick:
Place the workpiece against the jointer
fence.
Adjust the cutter block guard to the
height of the workpiece. When guiding
the workpiece, the hands slide over
the cutter block guard (Fig 7)

Planing the edge of a workpiece
(jointing) or workpieces more than
75mm thick:
Place the workpiece against the jointer
fence.
Adapt the cutter block guard to the
width of the workpiece (Fig 8).

Tilt lever = quick adjustment
Turn lever = micro adjustment
