7. Installation preparations

7.1 Wall

The prescribed minimum distances
between the wall and the ceiling
shown in the figure must be observed.
1. Make sure the housing has a level base.
2. Fit wall breakthrough or drill core hole:
Minimum diameter, 150 mm.
Recommendation: Fit WH 150 wall
sleeve. Fit wall breakthrough with
minimum diameter 170 mm.
3. Lay power cable (recessed) up to place of
installation, see above for spacing. Feed
the power cable at least 110 mm out
from the wall.

7.2 Ceiling

Danger of short-circuits and
NOTICE
damage to unit if condensation
builds up in the fan housing.
Thermally insulate ventilation
ducts in a professional manner.
Allow for a condensation drain or
condensate collector in the riser.
Perform installation preparations as
described in Chapter 7.1.

7.3 Duct

1. Debur edges on the inside of the duct.
2. Perform installation preparations as
described in Chapter 7.1.

7.4 External cover

1. Unpack the external shutter [12] with
external climate sensor [11].
Do not remove the sensor connec-
tion cable from the external climate
sensor. It is connected to the fan,
through the duct, when the housing
is mounted.
2. Guide sensor cable into the sockets.
3. Fit supplied sealing strip centred in socket.

7.5 Fan

1. Unpack unit and take off cover unit [3]/[4].
To release the cover's locking hook,
unlock ( arrow) using a screwdriver.
