2.1

Introduction

The ANT793-8DK antenna is a directional antenna with dual horizontal/vertical
polarization.
Note
The antenna ANT793-8DK cannot be used with all SCALANCE access points or
client modules. With some devices, the antenna may only be used with flexible
connecting cable of a certain length. Refer to the information in the device-specific
operating instructions.
2.2

Scope of delivery

The following components are supplied with the antenna:
● 1x antenna with 2x N connectors female
● 1x universal fittings for wall and mast mounting,
consisting of
– 1x holding plate for securing the antenna
– 1x intermediate hinge (wall mounting)
– 1x support for securing to the wall or mast
– 1x clamping bracket for securing the mast
– Threaded bolts: 4x M8x40, 2x M8x70, 4x M5x12,
– Washers: 4x M5, 4x M8
– Spring washer 4x M5, 4x M8
– Nuts: 4x M5, 2x M8
● 1x Compact operating instructions
