RAM Disk Configuration
This feature allows the user to configure the settings for the RAM disks installed in the system.
When you select this submenu and press <Enter>, the following items will display:
Disk Memory Type
This feature specifies the type of memory that is available for you to create a RAM disk. The
options are Boot Service Data and Reserved.
Create Raw
This feature allows the user to create a raw RAM disk from all available memory modules in
the system. When you select this submenu and press <Enter>, the following items will display:
•
Size (Hex): Use this feature to set the size of the raw RAM disk. The default setting is 1.
•
Create & Exit: Select this feature when you want to exit from this submenu after you've
created a raw RAM disk.
•
Discard & Exit: Select this feature when you want to abandon the changes you've made
and to exit from the submenu.
Create from File
This feature allows the user to create a RAM disk from a file specified by the user. Select
this submenu and press <Enter>, the following items will display:
Create RAM Disk List:
Remove Selected RAM Disk(s)
Use this feature to delete the RAM disk(s) specified by the user.
