SAFETY INFORMATION FOR BATTERY-OpERATED CLEANING MACHINES
Lithium ion batteries require special care and caution to minimise risks and extend the battery life. Improper use of rechargeable batteries
and failure to observe safety notes and instructions can cause personal injuries and property damage. WETROK AG explicitly will not
assume any liability for damage resulting from doing so. Claims under warranty caused by failure to comply with this rule therefore cannot
be asserted. Generally the warranty period for lithium ion batteries is 1 year. Please read the conditions and notes carefully before using
the rechargeable battery.
Safety notes (rechargeable battery):
Keep rechargeable battery away from any source of heat (i.e. fire, glowing objects, radiators, direct sunlight).
Extreme heat can result in an explosion of the rechargeable battery. Always ensure sufficient ventilation while recharging battery.
High temperatures also reduce the service life of the rechargeable battery.
Recharge lithium ion battery only at ambient temperatures between 5°C and 40°C (35°F-104°F).
The rechargeable battery must not be damaged mechanically. Dents or holes on/in the rechargeable battery can cause a complete
breakdown of the battery and may result in a fire / explosion. Never recharge or use a damaged rechargeable battery.
Lithium ion batteries contain chemicals. Not to be taken internally! Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Never open or destroy the casing cover of a rechargeable battery. Do not connect cables, connectors or anything else to the terminal
plug of the rechargeable battery. This can cause short circuits and thus destruction of the rechargeable battery.
No modifications to the wires are permitted! In particular, do not remove or open any electrical terminals or remove the earth cable!
Do not operate appliances with damaged cables!
Handling and storage:
Charge the battery completely prior to first use.
Use the charger provided for recharging battery only. The use of another charger
cancause malfunctions, reduce battery life and/or lead to fire and explosions.
Regular operation reduces battery life faster than partial charging due to constant complete discharging.
Therefore, always recharge battery after short periods of use.
Do not leave the machine uncharged over an extended period (1 month maximum). If you "store" the machine for an
extended period, be sure that the battery is NEVER COMPLETELY DISCHARGED but also NEVER COMPLETELY CHARGED.
The rechargeable battery stores best when charged to 70% of its charging capacity. This can be accomplished, for example,
by first recharging the battery COMPLETELY . Then operate the machine for about 25 minutes in scrubbing-suction mode.
The ideal long-term storage temperature is 15-25°C.
The machine may only be used and stored within the permitted operating temperature range (5°C to 40°C).
Do not clean machine with high-pressure or steam-pressure cleaners or liquid spray. Avoid direct contact with water.
Only load the battery in a dry environment. Avoid contact between the charging plug and water.
Only used original rechargeable batteries as replacements.
Have the rechargeable battery replaced by Wetrok experts.

MAINTENANCE AND REpAIR

Our products have been inspected for safety at the factory. To ensure their operational safety and to maintain their value,
a service must be carried out once every twelve months or after 400 hours of operation. Service may only be performed
by our service department or by approved experts.
8
TRANSpORTATION AND STORAGE
Temperature must not exceed 40°C when transporting and storing the machine. When the machine is transported, it must be properly packed
and secured. If the machine is stored, the fresh water and dirty water must be emptied and the tanks must be cleaned and kept open.
9

CORRECT DISpOSAL

Packaging, unused cleaning agents and dirty water must be disposed of in accordance with regulations in force at national level.
Return batteries unopened to the manufacturer for professional disposal.
The machine must be disposed of after decommissioning in accordance with regulations in force at national level.

10 WARRANTY

The valid warranty conditions can be found either on the current price list, offer, invoice and/or can be enquired at your sales agency.
If damage occurs because of disregarding these instructions as well as improper treatment or using machine other than for its intended
purpose, claims under the warranty will be void. We disclaim any liability for consequential damage resulting therefrom.
Damage resulting from natural wear, overloading or improper handling are likewise not covered by the warranty.
Complaints will only be acknowledged if the machine has been repaired each time by an approved service agency.
