Hints
 Do not expose the unit to extreme temperatures,
vibrations or strong mechanical stress.
 Do not immerse the whole measuring probe and
the cable into liquids, otherwise moisture can get
into the unit and cause malfunction. Only the tip of
the measuring probe is waterproof.
 Do not immerse the unit into liquids.
 Make sure not to insert the measuring probe into
fatty parts or bones. Insert the measuring probe into
different places in order to check if the meat is done
equally.
 If the meat is thinner than 2 cm, it will be done very
quickly. It is very difficult to measure the doneness
of thin meat portions.

Backlight

Press any button to activate the backlight for approx.
10 seconds. Otherwise the backlight will be switched
off to save battery power.
The backlight will light up when the signal sound is
heard.
The backlight will light up when the doneness level is
selected.
